Sometime in the future, Future Audrey looks back at her life and realizes she made a mistake. She is the Queen of Auradon and everything worked out well for her. But she misses Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay and all of the villains. Something bad happened to the villains. Even though Future Audrey found her happy ending, all magic is lost in Auradon. She wants to get magic back. Future Audrey figured out a way to change the timeline. She wants to go back in time and fix her mistake. If Future Audrey never turned evil then everyone could've been saved. Ally tries to stop Future Audrey, because changing the past could be sad ending for Future Audrey. Future Audrey sends a message back in time to Professor Tootles from over twenty years ago. Future Audrey instructs Tootles to visit King Beast who was still a beast back in those times. Future Audrey dives down to the mysterious water well. She wants to find three types of magic again, which will restore magic in Auradon. One of them is friendship with Mal. Elena, Jane, Naomi and Gabe are stuck in Cave of Wonders. They find a jar labelled with Jay's name on it. When they try to open it, they trigger a protection spell and the cave fills with lava. They barely save themselves, They wonder what's in the jar. Jay realizes someone opened the jar. He says his magic is stored inside. He needs to go back to the Cave of Wonders. A mysterious girl named Cat wants to tag along. She works for an evil organization called the Cobras and they also want to take Jay's magic.
