Simple Cabbage Poriyal Cut a small whole cabbage into four parts Thinly slice each part of the cabbage. Wash sliced cabbage in running cold water using a colander. Let it sit in the colander till the excess water drains out. Shake the colander couple of times before adding it to the pot for cooking.
