Chinese cabbage meat roll 翡翠肉卷
easy cook chinese food
Ingredients
200g minced meat
50g shredded black fungus
(Soak the black fungus in warm water
for about 20 to 30 minutes or until softened)
1 clove chopped garlic
12 slice cabbage leaves
(cut the bottom off and then just peel away the cabbage leaves)
To marinate the minced meat
5 -6 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
1 tbsp of corn starch
2 tbsp Japanese mirin / Chicken stock / chicken stock cube
mix weill with the black fungus
For the Sauce thickener:
3 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp Shaoxing (Chinese rice wine)
a bit of white pepper
1 tbsp of corn starch (Use 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon cold water)
Garnish: (optional)
spring onions /Scallions
Red chili pepper
Coriander
