@chuckmiller6924 years ago The main purpose of a grand jury is to decide whether an individual should be charged (or indicted) for a specific crime, usually only serious crimes. < i thought they were mainly just to decide if there is enough evidence for the charges the prosecutor wants to charge.
they are lay persons, so figuring out what to charge is not their main function. Just to review prosecutors evidence, ask questions on validly of information, interview witnesses if needed

@Superon6724 years ago Hey in the wendys shooting, it was the officer who the black guy shot the taser at, who shot and killed him, not the other officer standing far away.

@JacobMeza-pro-footballer4 years ago Firstly just wanted to thank you for answering my question, but also secondly, I know this isn't as closely tied to law, but more so analysis, but I was wondering what do you think is the likelihood of congress lowering their pay at all in the near future? I don't know if that would need a 2/3 vote to pass, but I feel mainstream politics overwhelmingly have become and continue to be about power of the individual and making wealth. I feel that the only way to bring in people that share your skills and assets would be to lower the pay of congress, to a point where the incentive to fight for the American people is stronger than making the big buck. (Then again, those who have higher creditantials may tend to prefer a more prosperous occupation and not be eager to have a go at politics.) .. ...Expand
