@terrymyers6993 years ago Thank you for bringing this episode to a close by honoring Roger Sinclair. I never had the chance to meet him but he was 'The Godfather of Graving' that taught and showed my mentors about all the history of the stars and celebs, that, if not for him, would still be obscure to this day. Well done, Arthur. ... 25

@downtonviewer3 years ago Another great one, Arthur! Ida Lupino was a lady way ahead of her time. What an interesting individual. Thank you for highlighting that one. 21
  • @
@illuminant11293 years ago Brilliant ! As always. Merle Oberon was lovely. A bit surprising that her marker was so modest. And Sydney Greenstreet was one of the best character actors ever. He even eclipsed Bogart in the Maltese Falcon. Strange that he should remain 'in storage'. Out of sight but never out of mind. ... 37

@TheKnitch3 years ago Mr Sardonicus! Thank you, William Castle, for giving me nightmares for years! I was 8 years old when I saw it. ❤🤣 9

@davidturnbole43953 years ago As always, an outstanding presentation. This one was quite a bit longer and really enjoyable. Yet, here I sit, at the age of 76, and see these stars that died within a few years of my age, or died when they were young, much like I did and returned from that. My mom is still going strong at 104. ... 34

@roxy55883 years ago Thank you so much for re visiting Errol Flynn. 3
  • @
@jimtownsend78993 years ago How fantastic to see two of my favorites in the title! Merle was magnificent as Lady Blakeney, and the look on her face when she realizes that Percy is the Pimpernel is a cinematic classic. And, was there anyone quite like Errol Flynn? I can (and often do, to the chagrin of my wife) recite the lines while watching "The Adventures of Robin Hood". In fact, I have the movie poster (as seen at ) in a frame in my office, and it is less than 6 feet from my head as we speak! I also thoroughly enjoy watching "The Sea Hawk", and of course, Captain Peter Blood battle Captain Levasseur, Colonel Bishop, and naturally, his niece Arabella! And,...I have heard of this Frances Gumm! ... 16
  • @
@jamessawyer88893 years ago Ida Lupino was not only married to Howard Duff, they both appeared on an episode of Batman in the final season 29

  • @
@scottbrandenburg22433 years ago Thank you for featuring Terry Kath. It's been said by many that he was the greatest rock guitarist that everyone has heard but nobody has heard of. A brilliant musician, the "Soul of Chicago". 3

@lohphat3 years ago From the Edward Everett Horton wiki:
In the 1950s, the state of California forced Horton to sell a portion of his property for construction of the Ventura Freeway. The freeway construction left a short stump of Amestoy Avenue south of Burbank Boulevard, and shortly after his death the city of Los Angeles renamed that portion Edward Everett Horton Lane. ...

@robthetindog82183 years ago Saw this & as usual came a’runnin! Another great effort. I especially like the efforts to shed light on the virtually forgotten world of the silent film; the huge debt owe them. Also, I remember my mom mentioning Franklin Pangborn; of whom I knew zero. Thanks for filling in that gap, Arthur. Another winner! ... 15
  • @
@DiegoTurletti3 years ago Thank you Arthur for the work you do. It's incredibly how watching graves can bring me such peace, probably has to do with your lovely narration. 10

@debbrown9953 years ago The minute you said "Edward Everett Horton" I thought "Fractured Fairy Tales." Even before you said it. 47
  • @
@zereprd39113 years ago Arthur Dark, this was an excellent presentation. Wonderful kudos to close on, as well, for Roger B. Sinclair. That was a very nice touch. I also recognized the name Wolders on the grave of Merle Oberon as that of Robert Wolders. He's had quite a bit of his own history in entertainment, but I remember him for that one guest spot on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, where he is the man Mary begins to have concerns over the fact their dating is based on superficiality. ... 14

@kdeazell3 years ago OMG Arthur, yesterday I got several messages with your video attached. I am Roger Sinclair's closet friend. He use to call me his daughter. I placed him in his niche he was so proud of. I visit often and the ending of your video showing his niche I was so FREAKING HONORED. I was friends with Roger for over 30 years. We met at Westwood and he would invite me on gravehunts with him. He took me all thru Forest Lawn GM several times. Hell if I could remember where everyone is. LOL!!!! And those are my Halloween decor on his crypt. When did you take this shot. I haven't been up there in a couple of months. I was in tears watching this and there is so many graving stories I could share. Roger was quirky and I loved the man like a daughter would. A couple of months before he passed he was telling everyone he could that I was his daughter. I till am honored that he chose me to help him out in his last days. He never married or had children. But he was never alone for sure. So many of us gravers, death hags and Hollywood Underground originals think very highly of Roger. So Thank you again. And feel free to contact me. I'm on facebook at Kimberly Talley Eazell And I am known at the Graving Queen of Orange County. If their dead in the OC I probably more then likely know where they are buried. And I work for the OC Cemetery District. So I have some inside info at Santa Ana, Anaheim and El Toro. I use to work at Pacific View for 6 years and know a lot people that are buried there that no one has found YET I should say. Much love and I've loved all your videos. ... 4

@spokanetomcat13 years ago My old elementary school is right across the street at the entrance of Forest Lawn Glendale and watching many large funeral precessions while playing on the playground of these old stars was common. I didn't know who they were except when Walt Disney went by. Our teachers never told us who was passing by. Not until I started watching this vlog finding out who they were from 1964-70. ... 4
