Very famous for unfurling the “Flag of Indian Independence” at Stuttgart Germany at the Second Socialist Conference. She studied at the Alexandra Native Girls’ English Institution where almost all other Parsi girls studied. At this time she was inspired by the slowly catching up Indian National Movement and she was very much enthusiastic about it. In 1905 she went to Paris and cofounded the Paris India Society along with Munchershah Burjorji Godrej and S. R. Rana. She worked as a private secretary to Dadabhai Naoroji. She was involved in the publication of many nationalist publications like Bande Mataram and Madan’s Talwar. Madam Bhikaji Cama unfurled the Flag of Indian Independence at the the International Socialist Congress, held in Stuttgart, Germany, in 1907.
