Pieces of bread that have gone hard and would be you can use anything, american toasts are ok but they are american. A 2-3 days old baguette if you like a little salt or 5-7 days old brioche/gche is perfect for breakfast. you also would like to keep the crust so the inside becomes even more fluffy. ...Expand
