Not only have Tom Daley & Mattie Lee made the nation proud after winning Gold, Tom admits the other person he hopes to have made proud too was his late father Rob. In a press conference yesterday, the gold medalist said: “My dad was my biggest cheerleader. When he passed away it was extremely difficult for me because he never got to see me win an Olympic medal.” Shedding a few tears, Tom was overwhelmingly proud of what he has accomplished.
